Red Ribbon Club

Red Ribbon Club (RRC) programme is a volunteer on campus inception in the year 2013-2014 that aims at heightening to risk perception and preventing HIV among youth. Red ribbon club has become a powerful medium to reach out to younger generation. The activities of the club are supported by the Tamilnadu State AIDS control society (TNSACS). This programme is supported by the Higher Education Department and demonstrates the importance of inter sector collaboration to address the issue of HIV /AIDS .

RRC empowers the younger generation by imparting awareness about mental health, substance abuse, physical hygiene and aims at their progressive health and wellness .

  • ICTC Awareness rally
  • Free Blood Grouping Camp

The camps and rallies are conducted regularly on International Youth Day (IYD), world AIDS day(WAD) , National Youth Day (NYD) , National Voluntary Blood Donars Day (NVBD) , World Blood Donation Day(WBD) and International Women’s Day.
